Visit Maldives has endorsed a large-scale four-city roadshow in Western India, signalling a continued push to deepen engagement with one of the Maldives’ most important source markets.
The “Tatabye Maldives Four-City Roadshow,” organised by Tatabye Tours, will be held from 31 March to 4 April 2026 across Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Pune. The initiative brings together 25 luxury Maldivian resorts and a wide network of Indian travel agents, tour operators and industry stakeholders.
Positioned as one of the largest Maldives-focused trade activations in the Indian market, the roadshow is designed to facilitate direct engagement between resort representatives and travel trade professionals. Each event will feature business-to-business meetings, destination presentations and networking sessions aimed at strengthening commercial partnerships.
The initiative also serves as a platform to showcase the Maldives’ diverse tourism offerings beyond traditional luxury segments. Experiences ranging from wellness and marine adventures to romance and diving tourism are expected to be highlighted, aligning with evolving travel preferences in the Indian market.
Tatabye Tours, which maintains direct contracts with more than 130 properties in the Maldives, has established itself as a key intermediary connecting Indian travellers with the destination. The company’s role in driving bookings and maintaining trade relationships has made it a strategic partner in destination promotion efforts.
India continues to rank among the Maldives’ top source markets, supported by geographic proximity, strong air connectivity and growing outbound travel demand. Initiatives such as this roadshow form part of Visit Maldives’ broader strategy to maintain destination visibility, support trade engagement and drive sustained visitor growth.
