InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort has introduced a Sleep Well Turndown Programme, expanding its wellness offering in response to growing demand for sleep-focused travel experiences.
The programme is structured around a five-sense approach, integrating elements of taste, touch, sight, smell and sound into a curated nightly routine designed to promote rest and recovery. This includes a guided sleep ritual, customised bedding options and ambient adjustments such as lighting and soundscapes.
Guests are also provided with a Sleep Enhancement Kit featuring aromatherapy products, calming balms and sleep aids, while a dedicated Sleep Guru is available to offer personalised guidance for improving sleep patterns.
Additional support is offered through AVI Spa, where treatments, yoga sessions and sound healing experiences are designed to complement the programme and enhance overall wellbeing.
The initiative reflects a broader shift in luxury hospitality, where sleep quality is increasingly positioned as a key component of guest experience and wellness-driven travel
